On April 21, 2023, our Studio opened a new computer lab at the Software Department of Lviv Polytechnic National University. Named Game Design and Virtual Reality, the lab was developed in collaboration with the university to bolster students’ multimedia and gaming programming courses.

During the lab opening ceremony, N-iX signed a collaboration agreement with Lviv Polytechnic, according to which a degree in software engineering will now have Multimedia and Gaming Programming as one of its elective blocks. N-iX Game & VR Studio experts and the university personnel crafted comprehensive course curriculums for Game Design and Development and Virtual Reality courses, for which students will receive academic credits.

At the event, our team also gave a lecture to all attendees on the topic of Game Development and Virtual Reality: Prospects for the Industry.

According to Daniel Poludyonny, AVP Delivery and Head of N-iX Game & VR Studio, such an initiative will help replenish the market with new, qualified specialists:

“Our goal is to help universities with modern technologies, to make the learning process more relevant, and grow a new generation of cool professionals. What’s more, our Game & VR studio is growing and the demand for qualified professionals is increasing, so we will be happy to offer new opportunities for talented young individuals,” said Poludyonny.

Thanks to N-iX’s support, the lab is fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology and will be accessible to students in building #5 of Lviv Polytechnic, room 410 (S. Bandery St., 28a).

Previously, N-iX Game & VR Studio also started the Unreal Engine course for those who want to advance their knowledge in UE and find their desired job in game development. As of today, more than 50 students have successfully graduated, and some of them were offered to join our crew as Unreal Engine developers.
