Our partnership with Paradox Interactive began in 2017. Since then, N-iX Games artists have supported multiple Paradox strategy titles and DLCs with 2D and 3D art production.
Over the years, our team has contributed to projects including Stellaris, Crusader Kings III, Imperator: Rome, Europa Universalis IV, Hearts of Iron IV, and Victoria 3.
Victoria 3 is a grand strategy game set during the 19th and early 20th centuries. The game simulates one hundred years of history starting in 1836, allowing players to choose any nation and guide its political, economic, and social development.
Players manage diplomacy, industry, and internal politics while navigating the major transformations of the era. Decisions made throughout the game can reshape society, influence global relations, and change the course of history.
The N-iX Games art team created several types of 3D assets used across the world map.
Historical accuracy played an important role in asset production. Since the game covers the period from 1836 to 1936, monuments and locations had to reflect their condition and appearance during that time. Some landmarks were newly built during the era, while others were still largely untouched archaeological sites.
Each monument and location model was created with a stylized tile so it integrates naturally into the world map. Our artists also produced several levels of detail (LOD) for every asset to maintain performance when players zoom out on the map.
Let’s start with an in-depth analysis of your idea, a high-level quote, and project plan. Once we smoothen all the rough edges we can proceed to the complete design, development, and production of your game, followed by release and post-release support.
