Our successful partnership with Paradox Interactive started in 2017, and N-iX Games has been constantly providing exceptional 3D and 2D art production services for their strategy masterpieces ever since.
N-iX Games’ team of artists has participated in most of their projects and DLCs since 2017, including such games as Stellaris, Crusader Kings III, Imperator: Rome, Europa Universalis IV, Hearts of Iron IV, and now Victoria 3.
Paradox Development Studio are the ultimate masters when it comes to creating grandiose, complex, and historically-accurate strategy video games. Released in October 2022, Victoria 3 is a new grand strategy game from Paradox Interactive. It is a simulation of 100 years, starting in 1836, where players can choose any nation and guide it through a tumultuous and transformative 19th century. The game has a strong focus on a player’s political, economic, and diplomatic decisions as they may shape the societal structure and change the fate of millions.
N-iX Games’ team of artists created three types of 3D assets for Victoria 3:
With each of the assets, our artists had to keep in mind the historical accuracy aspect. Since Victoria 3 takes place in 1836-1936, the condition and outer appearance of all the monuments had to correspond to that time period. Some of the monuments were just installed in the 19th century and many archeological sites were still largely untouched.
Each Movement and Location 3D model has a stylized tile that makes it fit seamlessly into the game’s terrain. Besides, our artists produced several LODs (level of detail) for each asset so that the game’s performance won’t drop even when a player zooms out on the world map.
Let’s start with an in-depth analysis of your idea, a high-level quote, and project plan. Once we smoothen all the rough edges we can proceed to the complete design, development, and production of your game, followed by release and post-release support.
